August 25, 2019 - Adam Kates Passes Nine Cars in Summer Slam at Nobles County
1Thursday night brought 21 United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS) entries to Hamilton County Speedway (Webster City, Iowa) for the 13th annual Casey's Clash. Starting the night off with a heat race victory, Adam earned the 5th-starting position for the opening night feature. Falling two spots shy of a Top-10 finish, Kates slipped back to a 12th place outing.

On Friday evening at Rapid Speedway (Rock Rapids, Iowa), Adam followed up an 8-lap heat race victory with an 8th place finish in the 40-lap feature.

For the ninth annual Summer Slam on Saturday night at Nobles County Speedway (Worthington, Minnesota), Kates locked his spot into the main event with an 8th place finish in his heat. Passing nine cars in the 40-lap feature, Adam reeled in a 6th place finish.

The following night at Casino Speedway (Watertown, South Dakota) for the Sandy Benson Memorial, Kates streaked to an 8-lap heat race win which positioned him 4th on the starting grid for the $4,000-to-win finale. Dropping two spots in the 40-lap affair, Adam recorded a 6th place finish.

August 17, 2019 - Kates Records 12th Place Finish at Salina Highbanks
1Adam Kates returned with the United States Modified Touring Series on Wednesday night at I-35 Speedway (Winston, Missouri) for the 10th annual Missouri Meltdown. After coming in 3rd in his heat race, Adam got involved in a tangle in the feature that saw him retire on lap 15.

The following night at Dallas County Speedway (Urbana, Missouri), Kates recorded a 7th place finish in his heat before placing 10th in his B-Main. Using a provisional into the $2,500-to-win A-Main, Adam ran improved early but pulled off late in the race.

Wrapping up the weekend on Saturday, Kates stopped at Salina Highbanks Speedway (Salina, Oklahoma) for the seventh annual ARMI Salute to our Veterans. In a field of 34 cars, Adam followed up a 4th place finish in his heat with a 10-lap consolation victory. Gaining two spots in the feature, Adam Kates reeled in a 12th place finish.

August 10, 2019 - 12th Place Finish in Summersota Nationals at I-94
1On Friday night Adam Kates invaded I-94 Speedway (Fergus Falls, Minnesota) for the 5th annual Casey’s General Stores Summersota Nationals. In a field of 28 United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS) entries, Adam jumped up two spots in his heat scoring a 3rd place finish. Starting the opening night feature in 10th, Kates dropped two positions to place 12th.

The following night at Ogilvie Raceway (Ogilvie, Minnesota) for the Modified Madness, Kates followed up a 5th place finish in his heat with a 3rd place finish in his B-Main. With $3,000 on the line in the feature, Adam held his spot for the entire distance logging a 17th place outing.

August 3, 2019 - Adam Kates Bags Top 10 Finish in Missouri Nationals at Monett
1 Adam Kates returned with the United States Modified Touring Series on Thursday night at 81 Speedway (Park City, Kansas) competing in a field of 33 cars. Passing four cars in his heat, Kates notched a 4th place finish which positioned him 10th on the starting grid for the main event. With $2,500 on the line, Adam was an early retiree from the 40-lapper on lap 28.

On Saturday afternoon at Lucas Oil Speedway (Wheatland, Missouri) for the 10th annual Slick Mist Show-Me Shootout, Adam came in 5th in his heat before placing 7th in his B-Main. Using a provisional into the $3,000-to-win A-Main, Kates passed ten cars in the 40-lapper to place 16th.

The following night at Monett Motor Speedway (Monett, Missouri), Adam scored a 3rd place finish in his heat locking his spot into the $2,500-to-win finale. Dropping three spots in the 40-lap affair, Adam recorded an 8th place finish.
